As I entered the gates of St. Mary’s School, Andhra Pradesh, I found myself transported to my own school days.
Being a convent school student from Gnana Bodhini I have always held a special place in my heart for the values, discipline, and nurturing environment that convent education offers.
I vividly remember the beautiful gardens that became my sanctuary, the inspiring conversations with nuns who visited from the United Kingdom, and the school stage that first gave me the confidence to discover my voice and unlock my potential. Those experiences shaped not just my education but the person I would eventually become.
This visit to St. Mary’s School brought back many of those cherished memories. More importantly, it reminded me of something timeless—the profound impact educators have on the lives they touch.
What made the day even more meaningful was the warmth, trust, and hospitality extended by the Sisters, teachers, and staff. Some experiences are difficult to put into words, and this was certainly one of them.
